What You'll Do As an Activities Assistant, you'll work closely with the Activities Director to provide engaging recreational, social, cognitive, and therapeutic programs that enhance our residents' quality of life.
Responsibilities include:
Assist with planning, organizing, and leading daily activity programs Encourage resident participation in group and one-on-one activities Escort residents safely to and from activities Build positive relationships with residents and families Assist with holiday celebrations, community events, and special programs Document resident participation and progress Help decorate activity areas and prepare supplies for events Provide hands-on resident support utilizing your CNA skills as needed Work collaboratively with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to promote resident well-being QualificationsRequired Active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license High school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, outgoing, and compassionate personality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to assist residents with mobility and participate in activity programs Preferred Previous experience in Activities, Recreation, Therapeutic Recreation, or Long-Term Care Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience Basic computer skills and documentation experience What We're Looking For We're searching for someone who brings enthusiasm, patience, creativity, and genuine compassion to every interaction.
