Provides various personal care and related services in accordance with an established plan of care, providing for the personal needs and comfort of clients in their homes. Provide a clean and safe environment for our clients.JOB SUMMARY
Provides various personal care and related services in accordance with an established plan of care, providing for the personal needs and comfort of clients in their homes. Provide a clean and safe environment for our clients. Always compassionate and understanding to our clients.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):- Personal hygiene
- Ambulation/Transfers
- Prepares meals and snacks
- Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
- Performs light housekeeping activities Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by our Right at Home Registered Nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):
- Medication reminders
- Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
- Measuring and preparing special diets
- Understanding dementia care
- Incontinence care
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide (in homes or facilities) preferred
- Valid drivers license for required travel
- Employer conducts background and drug test
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
