We provide one on one care in client homes throughout Jacksonville, Duval County, St Johns County, and surrounding areas. Caregivers receive:

Available shifts may include:
Weekday shifts Weekend shifts Morning shifts Afternoon shifts Evening shifts Some overnight shifts Four hour shifts Eight hour and twelve hour shifts when available We work to match caregivers with cases based on availability, experience, client needs, and reasonable travel distance. Caregivers Are Important Here Assisting Hands is locally owned by a husband and wife team who are involved in the agency every day. What You Will Do You will help clients remain safe, comfortable, and supported at home.
Care may include:
Bathing dressing grooming and toileting Mobility and transfer assistance Meal preparation Medication reminders Companionship and conversation Light housekeeping for the client Errands or appointments when part of the care plan Reporting changes concerns or schedule issues to the office Our clients include seniors, disabled adults, people recovering from illness or surgery, and adults who need companionship or personal care. What We Need From You Our clients need caregivers they can count on. You should be kind, dependable, professional, and honest about your availability. If you accept a shift, show up on time, follow the care plan, treat the client with dignity, and communicate when something changes.
Requirements You must have:
Active Florida CNA license or HHA certificate Level Two Background Screening Recent TB screening Classroom CPR certification
HIV AIDS
training Alzheimers and Related Dementias training Assistance with Self Administration of Medication training Reliable transportation to client homes Experience providing personal care Strong communication skills Comfort with pets is preferred because many clients have pets at home.
