Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurses Assistants and Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, particularly with individuals who have developmental disabilities, and possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role involves working closely with clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance. Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Support clients in daily living activities such as medication reminders and light housekeeping tasks. Document medical information and client progress accurately in medical records. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively. Provide hospice care as needed, ensuring dignity and comfort for clients at the end of life. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or home health preferred. Familiarity with working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is a plus. Ability to perform CPR and first aid when necessary; certification preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families. Basic cooking skills to prepare healthy meals for clients. Competence in maintaining accurate medical documentation as per healthcare standards.
