Job Description

Palmetto Subacute Care Center seeks an Enfermera Práctica Licenciada to deliver compassionate nursing care in a skilled subacute and long-term care setting. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, monitoring and documenting resident status, and assisting with ADLs and rehabilitation-focused care. You will collaborate closely with RNs, therapists, and physicians to support individualized care plans while promoting safety, dignity, and comfort. Responsibilities Provide direct bedside nursing care to subacute and long-term residents Administer medications and treatments per physician orders Monitor, document, and report changes in resident condition Assist with ADLs, mobility, and rehabilitation support Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and interdisciplinary team Educate residents and families on care plans and treatments Maintain accurate clinical records and follow facility protocols Support infection control, safety, and quality standards Participate in care conferences and shift handoffs Promote a compassionate, resident-centered environment Required Skills Medication administration Wound care Vital signs monitoring Electronic medical records (EMR) documentation Care planning support Infection control procedures Subacute and long-term care practices Patient and family education Spanish-language clinical communication Basic life support (BLS)
