Eye MD of Niceville is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our fast-paced, outpatient ophthalmic ambulatory surgery center. In this part-time role, you will work alongside our specialized surgical team to provide excellent care to patients undergoing eye procedures (such as cataract and blepharoplasty surgeries). Because we specialize in outpatient eye procedures, you will enjoy a predictable daytime schedule with no night, weekend, or holiday shifts . Schedule 7:00am - 3:00pm
Welcome patients, verify identity, assist with gowning, and accurately measure and document vital signs.
Mobility Support:
Provide safe transfer and walking assistance for elderly or visually impaired patients before and after surgery.
Recovery & Discharge:
Monitor patients in the recovery bay under RN supervision, offer post-op refreshments, and escort patients safely to their vehicles.
Turnover & Stocking:
Clean, sanitize, and reset pre-op and recovery bays between patients to maintain a safe, sterile environment. Restock clinical supplies.
Qualifications & Skills Certification:
Active state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing.
Life Support:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience:
Prior experience in an ASC, surgical environment, or clinic is preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate.
Attributes:
Strong communication skills, a gentle and patient bedside manner, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume outpatient setting.
Physical Demands:
