Job Description

Experienced CNA / Home Health Aide - Part-Time Private Duty Case We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) for a consistent part-time private duty assignment supporting an adult female client in her home and community. This client is currently undergoing cancer treatment and uses a wheelchair for mobility. We are looking for a caregiver who is confident assisting with personal care while also helping the client maintain as much independence, dignity, and connection to her normal routine as possible. Schedule Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 4 hours per day 16 hours per week Consistent weekly assignment Primary Responsibilities Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care Provide safe wheelchair and mobility assistance Assist with meal preparation and light household tasks related to the client's care Provide companionship and emotional support Transport and accompany the client to medical appointments, errands, and other community activities Assist with safe entry and exit from the vehicle Maintain a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment Communicate appropriately regarding changes in the client's condition or care needs Transportation Requirement Reliable transportation is an essential part of this assignment. The caregiver must have a reliable, insured full-size vehicle, such as a sedan or SUV, that can safely accommodate the client and her transportation needs. This position involves frequent driving and community transportation. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of professional caregiving experience CNA or HHA experience strongly preferred Experience assisting clients with significant mobility limitations and wheelchair use Experience supporting clients with cancer, chronic illness, or complex care needs is preferred Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current automobile insurance Strong attendance and dependability Comfortable providing transportation as a regular part of the assignment Compassionate, patient, professional, and respectful of client privacy and personal choices Ability to provide inclusive, nonjudgmental care to clients of all backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQ+ community Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries while developing a positive caregiver-client relationship Ideal Candidate The ideal caregiver is mature, dependable, experienced, and genuinely enjoys helping clients remain active and independent despite health challenges. Because this is a highly personal one-on-one assignment, we are seeking someone who will be respectful of the client's identity, lifestyle, preferences, and individual needs. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced caregiver looking for a consistent four-day-per-week case and the opportunity to build a meaningful, long-term relationship with one client.
