Vi Living is seeking a compassionate Activities Assistant to support engaging programs for residents in our skilled nursing setting. In this role, you will help plan, set up, and lead recreational, social, and wellness activities that promote connection, independence, and joy. You'll encourage resident participation, provide one-on-one engagement, assist with transporting residents to programs, and document attendance. Collaborating with nursing and lifestyle teams, you ensure activities are safe, inclusive, and tailored to varied physical and cognitive abilities in our luxury senior living environment. Responsibilities Assist in planning and delivering daily recreational, social, and wellness activities for skilled nursing residents Lead group and one-on-one programs tailored to residents' physical and cognitive abilities Encourage and support resident participation to enhance quality of life and social connection Safely escort and transport residents to and from activities Set up and break down activity spaces, materials, and equipment Document resident attendance, participation, and notable responses in accordance with policies Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and lifestyle teams to support care plans Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures during all activities Communicate warmly with residents, families, and team members, reflecting Vi's luxury service standards Support special events, celebrations, and holiday programs as needed Required Skills Activity planning and coordination Resident engagement and customer service Basic documentation and charting Infection control and safety practices Memory care and dementia support Group facilitation Time management Basic computer skills Communication with residents and families Mobility/transfer assistance within scope
