Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate healthcare team as a Bilingual Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) fluent in Spanish and English! This rewarding role is based in Palm Beach Gardens and offers day shifts from 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday ( 40 HR Maximum ) Responsibilities Observe and monitor patient conditions regularly, documenting vital signs and changes in health status accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Assist with medication administration following medical instructions and maintaining strict adherence to home health care regulations and HIPAA confidentiality standards Support patients with medical procedures such as catheter care, wound management, and end-of-life comfort measures with compassion and professionalism Facilitate safe patient transfers using proper methods and equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts while ensuring safety protocols are followed Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to promote a clean, safe environment Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care and address individual needs Qualifications Valid certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), with current licensure where applicable Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required for effective communication with diverse patient populations Prior experience working with geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia or Alzheimer's disease preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, medication administration, catheter care, and basic life support (CPR/First Aid) Experience working within home healthcare agencies or long-term care facilities is highly desirable Ability to lift heavy objects safely using proper patient transfer techniques; physical stamina for active caregiving tasks required Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times Join us in providing heartfelt care that transforms lives!
