Looking for Per Diem HHA's & CNA's We service Fort Lauderdale to Deerfield Beach Area Weekday/Weekend availability needed Must have Current Updated CEU's Must have 1 year home care experience The Home Health Aide/CNA will be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity and safety of a client's care.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the Home Health Aide/CNA include, but are not limited to the following: Must be willing to work short shifts Provide client care as directed by the Director of Nursing or Registered Nurse Supervisor. Assist in providing personal care (such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting), vital signs, transfers, standby assist, companionship, transportation, light housekeeping, meal prep, linen and laundry as defined by the plan of care. Follow principles of infection control and Universal Precautions. Assist in providing a safe environment and promote quality patient care through adherence to established policies, procedures and standards. Ensure client's rights are adhered to. These include but are not limited to; the right to privacy and dignity while care is being provided, the right to accept or refuse care, and the right to confidentiality of their information Respond rapidly and appropriately in an emergency situation Use equipment properly and in a safe manner.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma 2. Certification as an HHA or CNA License 3. Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience required. 4. Certified in CPR 5. Must have Physical and either a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray with in 6 months prior to hire 6. Licensed driver with automobile that is insured in accordance with the organizations minimum requirements. 7. Ability to work with little direct supervision 8. Good work ethic and empathy for the needs of the client 9. Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills 10. Ability to express spoken and/or written ideas in English 11. Treats clients, staff and the public with courtesy, respect and presents a positive public image. 12. Level 2 Background Check through AHCA 13.

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
