Job Overview Join our compassionate healthcare team as a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Home Health Aide (HHA) in Stuart, FL 34997! This flexible role is designed for dedicated caregivers who thrive on providing exceptional patient-centered care in assisted living, nursing homes, and home health settings. As a vital member of our team, you will deliver personalized support to individuals with diverse needs, including those with dementia, Alzheimer's, developmental disabilities, and other complex conditions. Your energy and professionalism will help enhance the quality of life for our clients while offering you meaningful work in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Provide attentive patient observation to monitor health status and respond promptly to changes. Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance using tools like Hoyer lifts. Administer medications and perform basic medical procedures including catheter care, vital signs measurement, and hospice care support. Document medical records accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support clients with memory care needs by implementing dementia and Alzheimer's care strategies to ensure safety and comfort. Assist with meal preparation, feeding, laundry, cleaning, and other home care tasks to promote a safe and clean environment. Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Skills Strong patient observation skills combined with experience in assisted living or long-term care environments. Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and vital signs monitoring. Proficiency in working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia-related conditions. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation and record keeping. Ability to perform CPR and handle emergency situations confidently. Experience in hospice or home & community care settings is highly desirable.
