Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Perform sterile processing of medical equipment and instruments.
  • Administer injections following proper protocols and aseptic techniques.
  • Utilize Cerner system for patient documentation and charting.
  • Handle durable medical equipment (DME) effectively.
  • Conduct phlebotomy procedures for specimen collection.
  • Assist in ventilating patients as needed.
  • Conduct patient assessments to monitor health status and vital signs.
Skills:
  • Proficient in sterile processing techniques to maintain a clean and safe healthcare environment.
  • Experience in acute care settings to provide specialized patient care.
  • Skilled in administering injections with precision and adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Knowledgeable in aseptic techniques to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
  • Familiarity with Cerner system for electronic health record management.
  • Ability to handle durable medical equipment (DME) efficiently for patient care needs.
  • Competent in phlebotomy procedures for blood sample collection.
  • Capable of ventilating patients using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Strong patient assessment skills to evaluate health conditions accurately.
  • Understanding of human anatomy to provide effective care and treatment.
Pay:
$15.24
