We are looking for autonomous, clinical experts who thrive in a mobile environment and are ready to grow with a fast-paced organization. The Role We are seeking Acute Care / FamilyNurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) with strong acute care backgrounds to provide on-site medical services. This role begins as an "as-needed" (PRN) position to support our sporadic referrals and new contract volume, with the explicit goal of transitioning high-performing providers into Part-Time and eventually Full-Time roles as our patient base in South Florida solidifies.
Key Responsibilities Mobile Clinical Care:
Provide high-quality acute care and medical management to patients in their homes or facilities.
Rapid Response:
Respond to referrals efficiently across the assigned county (Palm Beach, Broward, or Miami-Dade).
Autonomous Practice:
Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage patient outcomes with high level of independence.
Care Coordination:
Communicate effectively with the administrative team to ensure seamless patient transitions and follow-ups.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records for all patient encounters.
Qualifications & Requirements Licensure:
Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in the state of Florida.
Experience:
Prior experience in Acute Care, Emergency Medicine, or Urgent Care is highly preferred.
Independence:
Ability to operate with minimal oversight (NPs with autonomous practice registration are a plus).
Travel:
Must have a reliable vehicle and a willingness to travel within a designated county (Tri-County area).
Communication:
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to represent SOS Mobile Medical Care professionally in the field.
