Personal Home Care of Atlanta is seeking reliable, compassionate, and top-notch CNAs, PCAs, Companions/Sitters, and Caregivers to serve a client located in Acworth, GA . We have shifts open that need to be filled immediately. We are a private, family-owned home care agency located in Cobb County, proudly serving 10 counties across Georgia. With over 20 years of experience caring for our clients' loved ones as if they were our own, we treat our staff like family, too. What You'll Do Companionship & Emotional Support Provide companionship through reading, conversation, and listening. Participate in recreational activities and hobbies for social and sensory stimulation. Assist the client with phone calls, letter writing, and similar tasks. Accompany the client on walks and community trips (doctor's office, bank, errands, etc.). Provide emotional support and promote a sense of well-being. Encourage the client's family to participate in their care. Personal Care & Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Assist with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, back rubs, shampooing, and skin and nail care. Assist with eating, dressing, elimination, exercises, and ambulation. Change and make the client's bed. Plan and prepare meals. Household & Environment Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, neat home. Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy environment. Use equipment and supplies safely and properly. Health Monitoring & Communication Remind the client to take self-administered medications as ordered by the physician. Take and record accurate vital signs when advised. Inform the RN / Director of Nursing / RN Designee and staffing coordinator of any changes in the client's condition or assignment. Document activities and findings and submit documentation as required by company procedures.
