Job Overview We are seeking compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team in providing exceptional care to residents in various care settings. Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using proper patient transfer methods like Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly to nursing staff Administer medications and assist with medication management following HIPAA regulations and care plans Prepare nutritious meals and assist residents with meal consumption while ensuring dietary restrictions are followed Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas through regular cleaning tasks in compliance with health standards Document patient observations, care provided, and adherence to resident rights accurately in medical records Skills Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes or home health environments Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs Experience working with individuals with autism, neurodevelopmental disorders, intellectual disabilities or developmental disabilities support Familiarity with care plans, medication administration, HIPAA compliance, and resident's rights regulations Ability to assist with ADLs using proper manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Knowledge of dementia care, memory care strategies, hospice care practices, and geriatrics principles Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required and respond effectively in emergency situations through CPR or first aid certification Experience providing home & community care services including personal transportation assistance and meal preparation Join our team to provide compassionate caregiving that truly makes a difference!
