Category CNA- Certified Nursing Assistant Job Type Contract A skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is needed for a full-time contract opportunity providing one-on-one support to a preschool student with complex medical needs. This onsite role works within an elementary school environment and offers a meaningful way to make a direct impact in a child's daily life.
Schedule & Assignment Details:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Immediate start through late May 2027 Onsite at an elementary school, working exclusively with a preschool-aged student
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver attentive care to a student with limited neck and lower extremity control Monitor for and respond to daily seizure activity Supervise pulse oximetry; provide oxygen as needed based on readings Maintain optimal neck positioning to ensure open airway and safe breathing Perform or assist with suctioning and g-tube feedings as required Ensure student safety and comfort at all times Communicate clearly with school staff, healthcare team, and family as appropriate Document care provided and relevant changes in condition promptly
Qualifications:
Active CNA certification Experience with pediatric or medically complex patients strongly preferred Comfortable with seizure response, suctioning, g-tube feedings, and pulse oximetry Excellent observation skills and attention to detail Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary school team Highly dependable and proactive, with compassion for children with special needs This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the daily life and health of a young student in need.
