Location:
Auburn, GA 30011
Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 3:45 PM - 9:45 PM (Tentative, may include some weekend coverage)
Pay:
$15/hour (Weekly Pay) Cottage Grove Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one care for a medically complex pediatric patient in the home setting. This role is ideal for a CNA who is attentive, patient, and comfortable providing total care with a focus on safety and consistency.
Patient Overview:
18-year-old medically complex patient Nonverbal and nonambulatory Requires full assistance with all activities of daily living Wheelchair dependent with increased tone and contractures Requires close supervision due to inability to communicate needs
Responsibilities:
Assist with all ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene Provide feeding assistance with attention to safety and aspiration precautions Perform safe transfers and positioning (Hoyer lift use preferred) Reposition patient regularly to maintain skin integrity Monitor for changes in condition and report concerns promptly Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive home environment Provide companionship and engage patient in routine activities Follow care plan and agency protocols at all times
Requirements:
Active CNA certification Experience with total care patients preferred Comfortable with transfers, mobility assistance, and feeding support Reliable, patient, and attentive to detail Current CPR certification TB screening required Join a nurse-led team committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to children in the comfort of their homes.
Pay:
$15.00 per hour
