We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and caring CNAs, PCAs, and Sitters who enjoy helping others and want to be part of a supportive, mission-driven team.
Job Summary:
The CNA/PCA/Sitter provides compassionate, dependable, and respectful support to clients in their homes. The caregiver assists with daily living needs, companionship, personal care, and other duties based on the client's individual needs and care plan. The ideal candidate is reliable, patient, professional, and committed to providing quality care while respecting each client's dignity, privacy, and independence. Pay is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate and dependable care to clients in their homes Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) according to their individual needs and care plan Assist with personal care, mobility, and transfers as appropriate Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping as needed Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the client Observe and report changes in the client's condition or needs to the appropriate supervisor Complete required aide notes and care documentation accurately and timely Follow client care plans, agency policies, procedures, and safety guidelines Maintain client confidentiality and respect each client's dignity and privacy Communicate professionally with clients, families, caregivers, and office staff Maintain reliable attendance and arrive on time for scheduled shifts Notify the office promptly regarding call-offs, delays, schedule changes, or concerns
Experience & Qualifications:
Previous CNA, PCA, sitter, caregiving, personal care, or homecare experience preferred Current CNA certification, if applicable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, punctual, and professional Compassionate and patient when working with clients Ability to follow instructions and work independently Ability to communicate effectively with clients and the care team Willingness to follow agency policies, care plans, and documentation requirements
CNA Certification:
Candidates who do not currently have a CNA certification or approved Georgia competency documentation may be eligible to complete the required competency testing through AVet Cares during the hiring process.
Physical Requirements:
Depending on the client's individual needs and assignment, caregivers may be required to: Stand and walk for extended periods Bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform other physical movements necessary for client care Assist clients with mobility and transfers, as appropriate to the assignment Assist with personal care and activities of daily living Lift, push, pull, or reposition items or equipment as required for client care Maintain the physical ability necessary to provide safe and effective care Follow proper body mechanics and agency safety procedures Physical requirements may vary depending on the client's specific care needs and assignment.
