About the
Role:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in various healthcare settings. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to monitor patient health and report any changes in condition. This position requires compassion, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Minimum Qualifications:
Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of practice. High school diploma or equivalent. Basic life support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in long-term care or rehabilitation. Additional certifications in specialized areas of patient care, such as dementia care or palliative care.
Responsibilities:
Assist patients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse. Help patients with mobility, including transferring them to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive and caring environment. Maintain a clean and safe patient environment by following infection control protocols and ensuring proper sanitation.
