PROVEN EXPERIENCE REQUIRED SPECIFICALLY WITH COMPLETING VETERANS COMPENSATION & PENSION EXAMS
(because the Examiner may have 14+ DBQs scheduled in one day.) You may use your own
ADA-OSHA
compliant office or ours. Military Evaluation Services (MES) is hiring a part-time, 1099 PHYSICIAN, PA, or
NP OFFICE
to perform evaluations for America's Veterans and Service Members as part of the Veterans Benefits Administration's disability claims process (Compensation & Pension Exams). The Physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner will conduct examinations based on the disability claim filed, interview the Veteran, review the military records, enter the responses/results, order diagnostic tests if needed, and submit an opinion (if requested) in the portal. This process provides the support that allows the VA to determine service-connection status and rating (monetary disbursement). No medication, no treatment plans, no follow-ups, no on-call responsibilities, no scheduling, and no billing necessary on your behalf. CREDENTIALING and
HIRING REQUIREMENTS
PROVEN
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED SPECIFICALLY WITH COMPLETING COMPENSATION & PENSION EXAMS. 2
years post-graduate physician, PA, or NP experience. Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume. Degree from a regional-accredited university. NPs must be AANP or ANCC certified. PAs must be NCCPA certified. Current and unrestricted state practitioner's license with no pending criminal case. Complete credentialing applications with additional documents submitted within 2 calendar days of invitation. Update training, if your training is expired ~16 hours of VBA video PAID training plus agency training w/in 7 days = $400, w/in 14 days = $250, w/in 21 cal days = $100. Other requirements established by the credentialing and hiring agencies that meet company, local, state, and federal standards or policies.
