Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide essential patient care, support clinical staff, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for patients across various care settings. Your energy and attention to detail will help improve patient outcomes and enhance their overall experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in diverse environments such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and home care settings. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments in memory or behavioral health units Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures like catheter care or wound management to prevent infection Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient-centered care across acute, sub-acute, outpatient, and inpatient settings Assist with medical documentation and ensure accurate updates of medical records and charts using EMR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks Qualifications Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state regulations Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) certification required Prior experience in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including ICU, trauma centers), nursing homes, hospice or home care is highly desirable Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner for patient documentation and medical records management Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations such as Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma units requiring acute care skills Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient service are essential Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by providing exceptional care in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
