Weekends Responsibilities Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, repositioning, and mobility assistance. Obtain and accurately record vital signs, weights, and other assigned resident information. Observe residents closely and promptly report any changes in condition, behavior, or concerns to the nursing team. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company policies and state and federal regulations. Assist residents while promoting dignity, independence, privacy, and respect. Respond promptly to call lights, emergency signals, and resident requests. Make routine rounds and provide support according to individualized care plans. Support resident safety by monitoring exits, alarms, and community safety procedures. Maintain infection control and sanitation standards throughout the community. Assist with housekeeping and laundry tasks as needed, including cleaning resident areas, handling linens, and maintaining a safe environment. Ensure resident rooms, common areas, and equipment remain clean and orderly. Communicate professionally and courteously with residents, families, visitors, vendors, and team members. Participate in resident activities and encourage social engagement when appropriate. Attend required trainings, in-services, meetings, and competency check-offs. Follow all company policies, resident rights regulations, and safety procedures. Support a positive team environment and perform additional duties as assigned by leadership. Requirements Successful completion of a State-approved Nursing Assistant Certification program and active CNA certification in good standing. Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Compassion for seniors and a genuine desire to work with the elderly population. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Ability to work responsibly both independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of infection control, resident safety, and proper care techniques preferred. Must meet health screening requirements and pass a criminal background check. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed. Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting, transferring, and assisting residents.
