Job Description
Amity Care Hospice seeking for a full-time compassionate and caring Hospice Aide (CNA) for the Atlanta Area Benefits for Full-Time employee: Excellent PTO package Paid holidays Mileage reimbursement and paid travel time Health plan, vision and dental 401k Family / Team working environment
Bonus Program Responsibilities:
- Perform personal care needs of patients in accordance with the plan of care.
- Assist with personal hygiene including baths, oral hygiene, shampoo and changing bed linens as often as assigned.
- Provide nutritional support, feeds patients and prepares snacks as assigned.
- Assist in dressing and undressing patients as assigned.
- Provide respite for patient/family/caregivers when on-site, as appropriate.
- Keep patient's living area clean and orderly as assigned.
- Adhere to the organization's documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conduct.
- Attend team meetings as requested and maintains effective communication with other team members.
- Perform other job-related tasks as requested.
Qualifications:
- Meets the training requirements of Georgia.
- Has ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given to patients.
- Must Have a reliable transportation with a valid driver's license
- Is self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
- Provides a calm manner when in a patient home.
- Has empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and the impaired.
- Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation.
- Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
