Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our team in Cobbtown, GA. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in various healthcare settings, including long-term care facilities, assisted living, and home care environments. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort and well-being. Duties Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in patient conditions to nursing staff. Assist with mobility and transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Support patients with medication administration as directed by nursing staff. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols. Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Engage patients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their quality of life. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Requirements Valid CNA or PCA certification is required. Experience in critical care, long-term care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation practices, and EMR systems is essential. Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) techniques and vital sign monitoring is required. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are essential. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.
