Job Description
CNA/PCA Overview We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced
CNA/PCA WITH RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to the client in their home on Thursdays from 9am to 3pm. Duties- Assist the patient as needed
- Maintain accurate medical documentation of patient care and observations.
- Assist with mobility and transportation of patient to and from doctor's appointment or to the Grocery store if needed
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patient, particularly those with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures at all times. Requirements
- Previous experience as a CNA or PCA working with patients who may have dementia or mental disability
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and basic medical procedures.
- Strong communication skills.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to complete medical documentation accurately and efficiently, such as the Caregivers Time and Activity Record sheet
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of relevant training programs is required. PCA
- GACCP test
