Job Description

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) BrightStar Care Job Summary BrightStar Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our growing team. As a CNA, you will provide high-quality personal care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. You will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering exceptional care and creating meaningful relationships with clients and their families. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping duties Monitor and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or mental condition Record client care activities accurately and timely Assist with transfers and ambulation using proper safety techniques and equipment Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients Follow individualized care plans and agency policies Ensure client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Communicate effectively with clients, family members, supervisors, and healthcare professionals Qualifications Current CNA certification in the State of Georgia Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient, and dependable nature Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients safely Experience in home care, assisted living, long-term care, hospice, or healthcare settings preferred Preferred Experience Dementia and Alzheimer's care Senior care and companionship services Hospice and palliative care Assistance with mobility and transfer equipment Working with clients with disabilities or chronic health conditions What We Offer Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Weekly pay options Supportive and rewarding work environment Ongoing training and professional development Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your community Schedule Part-Time PRN/As Needed Day, Evening, Overnight, and Weekend Shifts Available License/Certification Requirements CNA Certification (Required) CPR Certification (Preferred) Work Location Various client locations throughout the service area.
