Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff. Help with mobility and transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols. Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and concerns. Support patients with memory care or dementia-related challenges in both acute and long-term care settings. Experience Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Critical care experience Medical office experience Long-term care experience Assisted living or nursing home experience Hospital experience including Level I and Level II trauma centers Working with individuals with developmental disabilities or Alzheimer's care Phlebotomy skills and medication administration knowledge Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation practices, and HIPAA regulations Experience in geriatrics, pediatrics, hospice care, or emergency medicine is highly desirable We welcome applicants who are passionate about providing high-quality patient care and are eager to contribute to our mission of enhancing the lives of those we serve.
