Job Summary Simple Meadows Personal Care Home is a licensed Georgia personal care home dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care in a safe, family-like environment. Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Medication Technician, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents. This dynamic position combines hands-on patient support with medication administration, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity for individuals across various care settings. Your expertise will help foster a nurturing environment that promotes health and well-being while adhering to all regulatory standards and best practices. Duties Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort. Administer prescribed medications accurately following all safety protocols and document each administration in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates; report any abnormalities promptly. Monitor and report changes in residents' condition Prepare light meals and snacks as assigned and perform light housekeeping and laundry Support residents with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, or behavioral health conditions with patience and understanding. Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and ensure privacy during all care activities. Use appropriate patient transfer methods and equipment like Hoyer lifts to ensure safe handling of residents with mobility challenges. Document all patient interactions, medication records, and care activities thoroughly in medical documentation system Respond appropriately to emergencies Treat residents with dignity and respect Qualifications Georgia CNA Certification (preferred) Medication Aide/Med Tech Certification (preferred) Current CPR Certification High school diploma or GED Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience preferred Dementia or memory care experience preferred Ability to lift 50 pounds Excellent communication skills Reliable transportation Benefits Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Paid training Supportive work environment Opportunities for advancement
