Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate team as a full-time Caregiver/CNA, where your dedication and skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. This energetic role offers the opportunity to provide personalized care in assisted living, nursing homes, residential care homes, and home & community care settings. You will be a vital part of creating a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for residents, supporting their daily needs and promoting their well-being. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure resident health and safety Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all medication activities Provide specialized care for residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other cognitive disabilities through memory care techniques and behavior management strategies Support residents with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and maintaining proper nutrition Practice safe patient lifting techniques and manual handling to prevent injuries for both residents and staff Maintain resident's rights by respecting privacy, dignity, and personal preferences at all times Engage in cleaning duties to uphold a hygienic environment within the care setting Drive residents safely when required for appointments or outings using standard passenger cars Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care plans Skills Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care environments with a focus on geriatrics or memory care Strong knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's support strategies, and behavior management techniques Ability to perform first aid and CPR confidently in emergency situations Skilled in medication administration following strict safety protocols Familiarity with resident's rights legislation and ethical caregiving practices Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is highly desirable Competent in using manual handling equipment and practicing safe patient lifting procedures Excellent client communication skills to foster trust and understanding with residents and their families Capable of operating vehicles responsibly for resident transportation needs Ability to handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining a compassionate approach to caregiving Join us in delivering exceptional care that enriches lives! Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 40.0 per week
