Grace Home Care Provider is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality home care to our clients. The CNA/HHA will assist clients with daily living activities and ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being within their own homes.Key Responsibilities:
Personal Care:
Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.Mobility Assistance:
Help clients with mobility, including transfers, walking, and physical therapy exercises.Vital Signs Monitoring:
Measure and record clients' vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.Medication Management:
Assist with medication reminders and ensure clients take medications as prescribed.Meal Preparation:
Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences.Light Housekeeping:
Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and tidy environment.Companionship:
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.Observation and Reporting:
Observe clients' physical and mental condition, report any changes or concerns to the Home Care Supervisor or RN, and document care provided.Emergency Response:
Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid or CPR if necessary.
Client Advocacy:
Advocate for clients' needs and preferences, ensuring they receive respectful and dignified care.Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in GA.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in home care or a similar setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical ability to assist with client mobility and perform light housekeeping tasks.
