Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure their comfort and dignity. Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates; accurately document findings. Maintain a safe environment by practicing proper manual handling techniques, using equipment like Blood pressure machines, food preparation, light housekeeping, linen changes and medication reminders. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure clear understanding of care plans and patient needs. Follow HIPAA guidelines diligently to protect patient confidentiality and handle medical records with care. Assist with patient using appropriate methods and ensure safe lifting practices during all movements. Skills Proven experience working as a CNA or in similar caregiving roles within long-term care facilities, hospitals, or home health settings. Familiarity with medical documentation. Knowledge of medical terminology, and basic life support (BLS/CPR). Experience with specialized care areas including dementia/memory care, Alzheimer's care, geriatrics, and post-acute care. Ability to perform transfers safely while maintaining proper body mechanics. Strong communication skills for effective caregiver-patient interactions and teamwork within multidisciplinary healthcare environments. Demonstrated understanding of essential for safe patient care. Pay:
$15.50 - $16.00 per hour
