Job Summary Join our compassionate team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA), where you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, personalized care to residents in various care settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring memory or dementia care. Your dedication will help enhance residents' quality of life through attentive patient observation, assistance with daily activities, and compassionate support. All roles are paid positions, emphasizing the importance of your valuable contribution to our community. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using patient transfer methods and manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts. Monitor and record vital signs, observe patient conditions, and report any changes or concerns promptly to nursing staff. Support medication administration and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal delivery while adhering to dietary restrictions and care plans. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing regular cleaning duties and ensuring infection control standards are met. Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being, including dementia and Alzheimer's care. Assist with transportation for appointments or outings, offering personal transportation assistance as needed. Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable. Demonstrated experience in patient observation, monitoring vital signs, and implementing care plans for individuals with dementia, neurodevelopmental disorders, or developmental disabilities. Knowledge of resident's rights, HIPAA compliance, and best practices for patient personal care assistance. Hands-on experience with specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods. Familiarity with medication administration protocols, first aid procedures, CPR certification, and basic life support skills. Experience working with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities supports your ability to deliver empathetic care across various needs. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with manual handling tasks required for patient transfers and mobility support. Pay:
$11.00 - $12.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 per week
