Job Description

PRN Weekend PCA/CNA The Hours will be 9:00am-1:00pm Mon- Thursday and 8:00am-4:00pm Friday. Companion Care of Georgia is seeking a dependable and compassionate PRN PCA or CNA to provide weekend coverage as needed. PCA Duties & Responsibilities As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), your responsibilities may include: Assisting clients with activities of daily living Providing assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene Assisting with toileting and incontinence care Providing assistance with transferring, positioning, and mobility Assisting with meal preparation and feeding , when needed Performing light housekeeping to maintain a safe and comfortable environment Assisting with laundry and changing bed linens Providing companionship and emotional support Assisting clients with shopping, errands, and other essential tasks , as assigned Following the client's care plan and assigned duties Observing and reporting changes in the client's condition or needs to the appropriate supervisor Maintaining client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality Providing dependable care and maintaining a professional relationship with clients and their families Qualifications & Requirements Reliable transportation Dependable and willing to work where coverage is needed Ability to work independently and follow care plans Compassionate, patient, and dependable Must have a negative TB test Must have a physical signed by Physician (We can provide this) This is a great opportunity for a dependable caregiver who wants a flexible PRN position and enjoys making a positive difference in the lives of others.
