Job description: Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at The Jimmy Simpson Foundation, where your compassionate care and clinical expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with diverse needs. Duties Deliver direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Monitor vital signs and observe patient conditions. Support patients with traumatic brain injury. Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, basic life support during emergencies or routine assessments in inpatient/ home care setting. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team. Maintain medical documentation accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all safety standards and infection control protocols Skills Proven experience working with individuals health needs in settings like assisted living or nursing homes Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient care procedures including vital signs Experience in long term care highly valued Proficient in infection control practices Excellent caregiving skills combined with a compassionate approach to working with children and adults across diverse community settings Join us to provide exceptional nursing support that transforms lives!
