Role:
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced caregiver to provide in-home personal care for a 76-year-old woman living with dementia and limited mobility. She currently uses a wheelchair/walker and requires hands-on assistance throughout the day. This is a rewarding opportunity to support a warm, family-oriented household in the Roswell area.
Responsibilities:
Assist with all activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Help with transfers (bed, wheelchair, toilet) using proper body mechanics Support with continence care Assist with feeding/meals and encourage adequate hydration Provide reminders and cueing for daily tasks due to memory impairment Light meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping Provide companionship and emotional support Monitor for safety (fall risk) and never leave client unattended Assist with mobility exercises/light physical activity as directed Communicate any changes in condition to family
Requirements:
Prior experience as a caregiver, CNA, HHA, or similar strongly preferred Experience with dementia care a plus Ability to safely assist with transfers and use of mobility aids Patient, reliable, and compassionate demeanor Comfortable working closely with family caregivers CPR/First Aid certification a plus Must pass a background check Reliable transportation
