We are seeking a compassionate and nurturing individual who has a passion for helping others. The Home Health Aide will be responsible for assisting individuals with daily living as well as light house duty and meal preparation Within the clients home. This position requires a flexible schedule, so we are looking for an individual who can work well independently with little supervision. This position is for injured clients needing help with their homes or at facilities. Our focus is to provide our clients with a peace of mind and safety, while they complete rigorous therapy programs and regain their ability to complete their normal ADLs. A lot of our clients have had injuries that prevent them from fully recovering, therefore they will require long-term assistance.

Responsibilities:

Maintain safety and security of the home. Maintain privacy and confidentiality of patients. Assist patients with daily living activities. Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming activities. Accompany patients during transport. Provide emotional support to patients, families, and caretakers. Meal preparation. Experience with hoyer lift transfers Preferred. Experience with paraplegics preferred. For this client, every other weekend will be mandatory If full time; 12 hour shifts - Long term client.
