Every Other Weekend Position Summary The Gardens Senior Living is seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant/Certified Medication Aide (CNA/CMA) to provide personal care, medication administration, and daily support to residents in our assisted living and memory care community.. Essential Responsibilities Administer medications accurately and safely according to physician orders, the Medication Administration Record, and facility policies. Document all medications immediately after administration. Monitor residents for medication effectiveness, adverse reactions, refusals, or changes in condition. Report medication errors, missed doses, refusals, and resident concerns promptly to the supervisor or Executive Director. Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, and other activities of daily living. Assist residents with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation using proper safety techniques. Respond promptly to resident call systems, pendants, and requests for assistance. Complete scheduled resident checks Assist with meal service Immediately report falls, injuries, skin concerns, breathing difficulties, altered mental status, or other significant changes. Maintain resident rooms and common areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition. Assist with resident laundry, linens, and personal belongings as assigned. Provide compassionate support to residents with dementia or other cognitive impairments. Maintain medication carts, medication rooms, and resident care supplies in a clean and organized manner. Participate in shift reports and communicate important resident information to incoming staff. Work cooperatively with caregivers, supervisors, families, healthcare providers, and other members of the care team. Required Qualifications Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification. Current Certified Medication Aide certification or other medication-administration credential recognized by the State of Georgia. Successful completion of required background screening. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with residents, families, and coworkers. Dependable attendance and willingness to work every other weekend. Previous assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or senior-care experience is preferred but not required. Schedule Requirements This is a full-time, day-shift position . The employee must be available to work every other weekend , assigned holidays, and additional shifts when necessary to support resident-care needs. Professional Expectations Employees are expected to arrive on time, remain attentive to resident needs, maintain professional conduct, follow the facility dress code, and provide respectful, compassionate care at all times.
Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
