The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role requires a blend of clinical skills and interpersonal abilities to ensure the highest standard of care. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Monitor and document clients' health status, including vital signs and changes in condition. Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medical equipment as needed. Support clients with mobility and transfers using assistive devices like Hoyer lifts. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to infection control protocols. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation. Skills Experience in critical care, long-term care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, EMR/EHR systems (such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks), and medical documentation practices. Knowledge of basic life support techniques and vital signs monitoring. Proficient in caregiving for individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia care, or hospice care experience. Ability to perform phlebotomy and catheter care when necessary. Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy relevant to patient care. Experience working in various healthcare environments including hospitals (ICU, PICU), urgent care, outpatient clinics, teaching hospitals, or home care settings. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
