Job description: Full job description Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Assistant-Medtech to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to residents in our assisted living and memory care facilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will assist with daily living activities, administer medications, and monitor vital signs while fostering a safe and nurturing environment for our residents. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records in EMR systems. Monitor vital signs and report any changes in residents' health to the nursing staff. Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities to enhance their quality of life. Ensure cleanliness and safety within the living environment, including personal care homes and group homes. Support individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia care, and Alzheimer's care through direct support and behavior management techniques. Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary to assist residents with mobility challenges. Maintain a respectful and professional relationship with residents, families, and team members. Experience Candidates should possess experience in caregiving or related fields such as: Assisted living or retirement home environments. Nursing home or long-term care settings. Home & community care experience or personal care home settings. Working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges. Familiarity with first aid procedures and emergency response protocols is preferred. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to providing high-quality care, and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
