Job Summary Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals needing assistance with daily activities and medical needs. This energetic position offers the opportunity to provide personalized care in clients' homes, ensuring safety, comfort, and independence. Your dedication will help create a warm, supportive environment that promotes well-being and dignity for those you serve. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs, observing symptoms, and reporting changes to healthcare professionals, as needed Medication reminders for Clients Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking, if needed Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and organization tasks Support clients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or assisting with transfers safely, as needed Document care activities, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams and family members Skills Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments Knowledge of patient observation, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and memory care techniques Ability to perform CPR and First Aid confidently; certification required Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, preferred Strong skills in patient monitoring, and vital signs assessment Experience with hospice care, long-term care, or nursing home settings is advantageous Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist with physical transfers using appropriate equipment Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and supporting residents' social needs Light housekeeping We're looking for people to serve clients on the east side of the Big Island!
