EPIC Position Summary Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 13-week contract assignment within its Behavioral Health/Psychiatric Unit. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of CNA experience , with previous experience in a behavioral health or psychiatric setting strongly preferred. The CNA will provide direct patient care and support the nursing team in maintaining a safe, therapeutic, and respectful environment for patients. Depending on departmental needs, the CNA may also be assigned as a patient sitter on a medical-surgical unit . Key Responsibilities Provide compassionate, safe, and respectful direct patient care. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and other personal care needs. Monitor and report changes in patient condition or behavior to the appropriate nursing staff. Support behavioral health patients in accordance with facility policies and established safety protocols. Qualifications and Requirements Current and active CNA certification/license as required by the State of Hawaii. Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience . Previous experience in a behavioral health or psychiatric unit is preferred .
