Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care and assisting with various medical procedures. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients and contribute to their overall well-being.
Duties:
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Take vital signs and record patient information Assist with patient mobility and transfers Provide emotional support and companionship to patients Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care Administer medications under the supervision of a nurse Monitor patients for any changes in condition and report to the appropriate healthcare provider Assist with documentation and maintaining accurate medical records
Requirements:
Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of an accredited nursing assistant program Knowledge of electronic medical record system is preferred Experience in patient assessment, aseptic technique, and primary care is desired Ability to work in various healthcare settings such as assisted living facilities, and nursing homes Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others Familiarity with dementia care and critical care is a plus
