Job Description
Atrium Village is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing team on full-time second shift (2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.). Atrium Village is a deficiency-free, private-pay long-term care community proudly serving Hills and the surrounding communities. Our licensed 20-bed Care Center allows us to provide highly personalized, resident-centered care with consistent staffing and meaningful relationships between residents and caregivers. Unlike most nursing facilities, Atrium Village is private pay only and does not participate in Medicare or Medicaid. This unique model allows us to staff well above state and federal minimums, giving our team the time and resources needed to provide exceptional care while creating a positive work environment. In addition to our Care Center, Atrium Village offers 28 Independent Living Apartments, where residents enjoy amenities including daily meals, housekeeping, linen service, recreational activities, and opportunities for fellowship. We are also honored to partner with St. Joseph's Catholic Church to offer Mass and Rosary services throughout the week. Responsibilities As a CNA, you will: Provide direct resident care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning using safe lifting techniques. Obtain and accurately record vital signs. Observe residents and promptly report changes in physical or emotional condition. Answer call lights promptly and provide compassionate, respectful care. Maintain accurate documentation according to facility policies. Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment. Work collaboratively with nurses and other team members to deliver exceptional resident care. Qualifications Current Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
