Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and changes in resident condition Assist with feeding and ensure residents receive proper nutrition and hydration Reposition and transfer residents safely using proper body mechanics and equipment Support residents' comfort, dignity, and emotional well-being Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner Communicate observations and concerns to nursing staff promptly Maintain a clean, safe, and organized resident environment Follow all infection control and safety protocols Current, unencumbered CNA certification in the state of Iowa High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred, but not required CPR certification a plus Strong communication skills and a genuine compassion for elderly and disabled residents Ability to work 2nd shift and meet the physical demands of the role (lifting, standing, walking for extended periods) Reliable, punctual, and a team player
