Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant or Nurse to join our podiatry clinic. In this role, you will provide essential clinical support to ensure smooth daily operations and deliver high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Duties Assist podiatrists with patient examinations and procedures, including preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing equipment. Take and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. Gather patient medical histories and update electronic health records accurately. Provide patient education on foot care, post-treatment instructions, and follow-up care as directed by the healthcare provider. Administer basic treatments or medications as authorized and trained to do so. Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle administrative tasks related to patient care. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards within the clinic. Support the clinical team in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for patients. Qualifications Certification as a Medical Assistant or current licensure as a Nurse (LPN, RN) preferred. Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in podiatry or outpatient care. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and safety standards. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Compassionate attitude with a focus on providing exceptional patient care. Basic computer skills for managing electronic health records and scheduling systems.
