As a Bath Aide, you will play a vital role in providing hands-on care to residents, promoting their dignity and well-being in a supportive and team-focused environment.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CNA to join our team for 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM shifts. As a Bath Aide, you will assist residents with daily activities and provide personal care,. Your role will be essential to ensuring the highest level of care for our residents.
Responsibilities:
Provide supportive services to nurses and other staff as needed and perform duties as assigned Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, in accordance with care plans and facility policies Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, and other equipment Coordinate dining room services, including set-up, meal tray delivery, feeding assistance, and documentation of meal intake Deliver nutritional supplements to residents and document intake accordingly
Requirements:
Current CNA certification in the state of Iowa (required) Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing (not required) Kind, dependable, and team-oriented attitude Passion for caring for seniors and helping them thrive
Personal Skills and Traits Desired:
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Must be a supportive team member, contribute to, and be an example of teamwork Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday Ability to work beyond normal working hours, weekends, and holidays when necessary
