Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Aide to provide exceptional resident care in our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to supporting individuals with diverse needs, including geriatric patients, and those with developmental disabilities. As a Certified Nurse Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patient health, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all clients. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance. Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems. Support patients with medication administration following prescribed protocols and ensuring compliance with home healthcare regulations. Observe and report changes in patient condition, including patient observation related to dementia or Alzheimer's care. Assist with patient transfer methods utilizing equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts to ensure safety. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and uphold high standards of medical documentation. Support patients during medical procedures or treatments while adhering to safety protocols like first aid and basic life support (BLS). Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive home health or community care assistance. Experience Prior experience working as a Certified Nurse Aide in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home healthcare environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in patient observation, medical terminology, and documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Experience assisting with ADLs, medication administration, catheter care, and vital signs measurement. Knowledge of patient transfer methods using Hoyer lifts or similar equipment is advantageous. Strong caregiving background working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required and maintain patient safety at all times. Certification in CPR and first aid is mandatory; additional training in Alzheimer's or memory care is a plus. Pay:
$13.50 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 40.0 per week
