Job Description

Join Life Care Centers as a Nurse Aide in Training and begin your career in senior care and rehabilitation. In this entry-level role, you will support nurses with basic resident care, including assisting with daily activities, mobility, comfort, and safety. You'll learn hands-on skills in a patient-first, family-focused environment committed to compassionate service and quality outcomes. Working within our healthcare team, you'll receive guidance and training to prepare for CNA certification, while contributing to dignified, respectful care for our residents every day. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Support nurses with basic patient care tasks under supervision. Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff. Maintain a safe, clean, and comforting environment for residents. Practice infection control, hygiene, and safety procedures at all times. Document care and observations according to facility guidelines. Engage with residents and families with compassion and respect. Participate in training to prepare for Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification. Required Skills Basic patient care Vital signs measurement Infection control practices Safe patient transfer and mobility Assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming) Patient and family communication Observation and reporting of changes HIPAA and patient privacy compliance Team-based care coordination Basic documentation in medical records
