Join our Hospice team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where you will provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients in the comfort of their homes. In this deeply rewarding role, you'll support patients and families throughout the end-of-life journey, helping ensure comfort, dignity, and peace while making a meaningful difference every day. This role will support the treasure valley including rural areas.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. What You Can Expect Provide direct patient care in home hospice settings under the direction of the hospice care team Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility, and comfort measures Support patients and families with dignity, compassion, and empathy during end-of-life care Build meaningful relationships with patients and families while providing emotional support and education Work independently in patients' homes while maintaining strong communication with the care team Mileage reimbursement provided for patient visits Eligible to apply for St. Luke's scholarships to pursue nursing education and career advancement opportunities Qualifications Education No formal education required Experience Minimum of 6 months of relevant healthcare experience required Licenses/Certifications Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice or Nurse Apprentice Letter required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute required
