Key Qualifications:

Active CNA certification in Illinois Experience working with pediatric populations or in school environments preferred Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Compassionate and patient, with a genuine interest in helping children and adolescents Ability to adapt to a dynamic school setting and work independently Current BLS/CPR certification

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and assistance to students with medical or personal needs during the school day Support nursing staff with routine tasks, such as monitoring vital signs, assisting with personal hygiene, and documenting care provided Administer first aid and care for minor injuries or illnesses under the supervision of a licensed nurse Assist in the development and implementation of care plans for students with chronic health conditions Engage respectfully with students, staff, and families to foster a safe and healthy learning environment Maintain accurate records and confidentiality in accordance with school policies and healthcare regulations Imagine contributing your skills in a setting where every day brings new opportunities to support young people and ensure their comfort and success.
